Choose from any or all of our exceptional recreational facilities to enhance your group experience. Our Event Coordinators (757) 899-4901 are happy to help you plan a schedule that will keep your group interested and entertained while offering a quality, relaxing experience.

    Horse Shows

    Airfield Conference and 4-H Center is the host to many horse shows. With 101 stalls for rent, as well as rings and jumps, we are happy to help you plan your show. Please call our Event Coordinators now for more information at (757) 899-4901.

    Environmental Shows

    Environmental Tours are available for schools, civic groups, clubs, etc. *

    Wildlife and Birding

    Airfield is a part of the Virginia Wildlife and Birding Trail.

    Picnic Facilities

    We have three (3) different Picnic Areas that are available to your group at a charge of $6.00 per person for a four-hour picnic and $8.00 per person for any picnic over four hours (discounted price with purchase of a meal). This fee allows you full access to all amenities such as the swimming pool (seasonal), tennis courts, and horseshoes. The option for the Airfield Center to cater the picnic is available. See our picnic menu for selection and pricing. All picnics must be scheduled in advance. Children three and under are FREE.

    Outdoor Camping

    Bring your own tent - $10.00 per person, per night, $3.00 per person group rate (Boy Scouts, etc) per night. RV/Campers - No Hookups $20.00 per night, with electric $30.00 per night.

    Equipment and Facility Fees

    Our listed recreation facilities may be included with the rental of the Picnic Areas and with any conference booked. However, if you are an overnight guest and have additional people joining you on the property, there may be a $4.00 per person facility charge.

    Stop by the front desk in the Gray Building to pick up any recreation equipment.
